EBSCO Training Programme & Quiz Contest (26 November, 2019)

Abstract

EBSCO Discovery Service had organized a user’s awareness cum training programme in our library. Their main aim was to teach how to search our library resources from one single tool box along with the retrieval process of resources related with business, industrial, sociology & organizational behavior. Two resource persons, one from the Delhi and another was the local came and taught how to access detailed company information for more than 1.1 million of the world’s largest public and private companies, followed by a quiz competition also. Speaker : Raj Kumar Mahapatra, Training Manager, EBSCO; Convener: Dr. N.C. Ghosh, Librarian, IIM Calcutta; Venue: B.C. Roy Memorial Library; Time: 4 PM. Mr. Sanjay Rajan from Factiva delivered his presentation. They had also arranged a quize contest and senior assistant librarian along with other resource persons distributed the prizes to the winners.
