Abstract: The Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C) on August 29 issued an alert for CAT 2024 aspirants against some fraudulent websites impersonating to be the official CAT 2024 website. IIM Calcutta on Thursday issued a release stating that the “CAT Centre has been made aware of a fraudulent website posing as a website for CAT registration, targeting applicants and soliciting personal information.” “We urge all applicants and stakeholders to be cautious and visit only our official website and not fall prey to spurious or malicious websites engaging in pharming/phishing that resemble the official CAT website,” the official release alerted students.
