The continuous hustle for a better quality of life and upward social mobility over the past decade has accelerated urbanization in an unprecedented manner. Globally, this urban populace is expected to shoot up to 70% from 56% of the current figure in less than 25 years from now. And yet, for many of us, the city can be a confusing place. We are constantly battling burgeoning traffic, struggling to find affordable housing, and feeling disconnected from our neighbours. But what if there was a way to make sense of it all? What if we could use data and technology to understand the complex systems that make up our cities?
