Abstract: The continuous hustle for a better quality of life and upward social mobility over the past decade has accelerated urbanization in an unprecedented manner. Globally, this urban populace is expected to shoot up to 70% from 56% of the current figure in less than 25 years from now. In the present scenario with constrained geography, resources & infrastructure, delivery of public services to citizens in cities are lagging in technological solutions. What is the next paradigm to handle this? Is it our latest poster boy- AI? The city never sleeps. It’s a living, breathing organism with its own unique rhythms and flows. And yet, for many of us, the city can be a confusing place. We are constantly battling burgeoning traffic, struggling to find affordable housing, and feeling disconnected from our neighbours. But what if there was a way to make sense of it all? What if we could use data and technology to understand the complex systems that make up our cities? Hola, welcome to the world of urban analytics!!
