His book is one of what must be hundreds written on the global financial crisis of 2007-2009 but deserves to be read for delving beneath the superficial explanations for the crisis: such as greed, f r a u d , a n d b a n k e r s ’ excessive salaries - although these played a role.
Description: Biosketch: Professor Manahem Prywes is a former World Bank Economist, with over 25 years experience working in post-conflict countries leading teams in delivering effective social programs. He teaches the "Globalisation and Developing Countries" course in his capacity as a visiting faculty at IIM Calcutta.
