Abstract: An interview with R. Rajamani, a retired Secretary of Ministry of Environment and Forests in India, is presented. When asked why the environmental issues fascinate him, Rajamani says that he is fervently involved in issues related to environment and there is a depletion of natural resources, especially in India. Rajamani believes that the Indians' use of technology for artifacts making and commercial sales affect the natural resources.
