Abstract: In this article, the author discusses the paper by Peet S. Aulakh on internalization of firms. The author discusses the arguments of Auklakh on internalization-performance relationship and its benefits to firms. The author argues that scale and flexibility benefits of internalization are important for researchers in studying internalization and performance relationship. The author suggests the significant influence of experience with earlier internalization should not be disregarded.
