Abstract: | The first article examines the fiduciary duties of a company’s board of directors to its various stakeholders under section 166(2) of the Companies Act, 2013 and proposes measures to strengthen the role of the board in balancing the conflicts among and interests of all stakeholders. The second article discusses M&A activity in India during the first eleven months of 2021 and the investment themes dominating India's M&A landscape. The third article discusses the need for a legal digital currency in India and suggests various features that the digital currency may have. The fourth article examines green bonds for funding climate crisis and the premium, greenium, they enjoy. In the fifth article, the author discussed the evolution of the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) model in India (and around the world) and proposes action points to safeguard the Indian financial sector and the welfare of Indian consumers. |
