dc.description.abstractIndegene, a healthcare solutions company, enabled the partner firms in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry to drive efficiency and effectiveness in their business process. There was a growing demand to manage large volumes of the content generated to meet both medical and commercial requirements in the pharmaceutical domain. Through the deployment of intelligent automation in content generation and reuse, Indegene aimed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness in the content management space. Tarun Mathur, the Chief Technology Officer of Indegene, and his colleagues leveraged cutting edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to develop solutions that delivered personalized and context-specific content on-demand from the users. The case describes the process of implementation of data analytics for automated content generation, particularly on the commercial side of the pharmaceutical industry. In doing this, Indegenehas to not only deal with the technological challenges due to the rapid changes in the technology landscape but also address the organizational challenges due to the implementation of automation. Can Indegene cope up with these challenges and achieve success in driving digital innovations across the pharmaceutical industry?
