dc.description.abstractSo happy to announce the special December issue of Decision on “Emerging Technologies and Operational Analytics”. I am ever thankful to my two guest editors, two bright young academicians: Prof Arnab Adhikari of Indian Institute of Management Ranchi and Prof Adrija Majumdar of Indian institute of Ahmedabad; without them, it would have not been possible to release this special issue on such an important aspects of business world in today’s time. We are truly in the age of big data with a high volume and variety. During this current crisis time, when world is completely revolving around digital world, processing of such crucial data using analytics to uncover hidden knowledge is a challenging task with utmost importance. Hence, in this special issue we put together 7 such articles elaborating different dimensions of decision-making processes within organisations using distinctive aspects of analytics.
