| Abstract: | In March, the Board of Governors at IIM-Calcutta accepted the resignation of institute director Anju Seth and had appointed the senior most professor, Subir Bhattacharya, as the acting head of the institute. Professor Uttam Kumar Sarkar is the new director of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta, the institute informed today. Sarkar is a professor at the Management Information Systems Group of the Institute. He has obtained his BTech, MTech, and PhD degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. |
